Muse announced via Twitter today that their fifth album will be titled 'The Resistance’. It’s believed that the album is now nearing completion and has been produced by the band and mixed my Mark 'Spike’ Stent (Oasis, Radiohead).

The album is set to include the band’s most orchestral work to date which Matt Bellamy has said is more suited to 'Classic FM'. Talking to an Australian magazine, the frontman remarked:

"There's a new song in three parts, which I have been working on sporadically for many years. As a large percentage of the composition is orchestral... I've been arranging the orchestral elements myself, which is taking a long time."

Muse have already announced they will be touring the UK and Europe after the summer. Dates on U2’s world tour in North America have already been confirmed.
