LILY ALLEN is rumoured to be dating musician DANIEL MERRIWEATHER after they were introduced by mutual friend MARK RONSON.
Superproducer Ronson worked on Allen's 2006 album Alright, Still and collaborated with Merriweather on his cover of The Smiths' Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before in 2007.
And now the Grammy winner has reportedly turned matchmaker - encouraging Allen, who has been single since splitting with art dealer Jay Jopling in January (09), to date his pal.
A source tells British newspaper The People, "She and Daniel get along brilliantly. She's had a hard time with men and everyone hopes this will work out."
