LADY GAGA has spoken about how she was mistaken for a hooker while visiting Russia.
The Poker Face star said Moscow police thought she was a prostitute as she stood in the city's Red Square taking pictures.
She said she stopped her driver in the middle of the world-famous landmark, but she was quickly approached by officers who made gestures to her suggesting she was on the game.
The singer said: "After performing in the middle of nowhere I asked her driver to stop in the middle of Red Square so I could take photos.
"I was having a little photo shoot and all of a sudden the police came out of nowhere and they started to go like this [clapping with fingers].
"I said 'I think that means whore in Russian'.'"
